Floral Arrangement
This past weekend we had the best weather, tons of sunshine with a light breeze. It was also the perfect opportunity to pull out my white jeans and Zara floral top, which I can’t get enough of! Do anything fun outside this weekend?

Minnie Mouse
It’s no secret that I have a mild obsession with polka dots (last seen here, here, and here). I love the Minnie Mouse images that conjure up in my mind, but are too quickly replaced by possible outfit options in my closet. This time I went with red polka dots, which to my surprised paired nicely with army green and leopard print.

Winter Tips
A few weeks back Washingtonian Magazine contacted me to provide some winter tips on how to stay warm and still dress cute when going out. Being that our west coast weather was short lived, I was delighted to share my going out uniform, which almost always consists of (faux) leather leggings and a (faux) fur stole. For more fun and creative winter dress-up tips head over here!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

West Coast Weather
Since we have been experiencing some serious west coast weather here in the DC area lately, I have taken advantage of every jacket-less moment. Instead, I’ve been layering with a faux fur vest, which in my opinion is the perfect way to still uphold a winter look even when there is no need for jacket.
Happy Wednesday!

Electric Blue
I bought these Rag & Bone Jeans on megasale from Intermix not too long ago. They had been sitting in my closet waiting for spring to arrive but then I decided that sometimes in the gloomiest of winter days a pop of electric blue is just what everyone needs.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Neon Spots
As a huge fan of neon this season, I wanted to try out this trend without breaking the bank. This Old Navy neon messenger (thanks to Alicia’s recommendation) proved to be the perfect pop of color to an all black and navy ensemble that I put together this past weekend.

Two thousand eleven was a great year in my blog life. I was inspired by so many new wonderful people I met through CapFABB and most importantly look forward to growing those relationships.
Thank you to all my loyal readers, this year wouldn’t have been the same without your continuous support. In the new year, you’ll have plenty of more exciting outfit features and home decor tips coming your way.
Here’s a look back at a few of my favorite outfits (in no particular order) from this past year. Wishing you all a wonderful New Year!

Mixing Textures
One of my favorite things about winter has always been layering (last seen here). When it comes to layering, I also love mixing various textures like wool, leather, fur, and suede. This combination of texture and color is exactly what I will be mixing up this winter.
