The Oscars are my equivalent to the Superbowl. The red carpet is my favorite part of the event, beautiful vintage gowns and men dressed like GQ models. What else could you ask for?:)  For me this year, best dressed was Demi More and Diane Kruger. Who was your best dressed?

Nordstrom is having a huge woman’s shoe sale, with most styles at least 30% off! What’s great about Nordstrom is that if for any reason the shoes are not comfortable you can easily return/exchange them! Here are a few that I have my eye on (all over 30% off):

Recently I am obsessed with my Seven Jeggings (jeans+leggings). I bought the 7 For All Mankind Gummy Motorcycle Leggings from shop bop not too long ago on sale for $60! They are currently sold out:(  but I have also seen them in Bloomingdale’s! They are supper comfortable and look great with boots and heels.  I am also lusting over are the 7 Coco leggings and the 7 Crystal Wash leggings. Below are my leggings and one that is similar:

I just got back from a conference in SF and I must say that they have the best shopping there. I stayed in Union Square and the shopping was amazing.  While in SF I also checked out the Sonia Rykiel collection at H&M. SF has one of the largest H&M’s I have EVER been to. What’s amazing about this specific store is that it also carries H&M’s high-end light pink label that sells slightly more expensive chic pieces. The price is still reasonable but the styles are so unique (never can find this label in MD or DC stores). I will post later about my great purchases:)

Ok…back to Sonia, most of the styles and neon colors weren’t really my taste but I did find a few amazing basic pieces that I had to have. My favorite is the piece I am wearing below which is a black knit sweater with a huge flower in the front. It was only $34 and works great with my white and black plaid work pants!
